A massive buffalo bull is doomed to die.

An email was received earlier today asking for a buyer for a Addo Elephant Park buffalo bull. The emailed claimed that the buffalo had lived in the Addo Elephant Park in the Eastern Cape most of its life.

On the 12th January 2010 his horns were measured at 50" making him one of the largest buffalo bulls in South Africa. This horn length will now lead to his demise as he is being offered to the highest bidder by a game relocation unit and animal trader.

The asking price ..... R1.8 million rand.

Here at SanWild we can only hang our heads in shame that yet another great animal will die in South Africa as a result of man's greed. Instead of conserving and protecting him because he is special he is doomed to die, unless of course if a saviour comes from nowhere and buys him to save his life.
