SanWild's elephants are fitted with tracking collars.
From time to time it is necessary to replace the tracking collars on our small herd of elephants to ensure their safety in the reserve.
In March this year, the collar on the matriarch was replaced and for guests in the reserve this was a great and very special opportunity to observe and help the veterinarian to perform blood and other tests.
