Another success story.
Months ago a very small bush pig was collected from Haenertsburg. She was found still alive next to her dead, snared mother and sibling. Fortunately for Bossie someone cared enough to take her in and now she has been joined by another rescued bush pig called Ramatsi that was also hand raised by SanWild. The two animals have been successfully teamed up and will make up the nucleus of a new breeding program at SanWild. Bush pigs in our area have also been wipe out indiscriminately and we are excited to know that in the near future wild baby bush pigs will be born in the reserve to take their rightful place amongst all the other rescued animals.
