Finally released to the wild.
The young baby bush buck collected from a farm just outside Tzaneen after it was saved by their rangers have finally been returned to the wild.
Young Donald, named after the ranger who rescued the small fawn after it was attacked by a predator, but managed to escape, has grown into a stunning young bush buck. He still visits our house from time to time and is given some treats, but more and more he prefers to remain out in the bush. We know that soon Donald will choose a life in the wild and will forget about the humans who hand raised him with great love and compassion.
