As a rehabilitation centre that specializes in wild animal emergency rescues, it is seldom that SanWild receives an animal into its care that does not require immediate veterinary treatment or specialized treatment or hand raising. These costs can be significant. If you therefore feel inspired about the work that we are doing, you can contribute financially by means of the following options:

SPONSOR AN ANIMAL - If you go to the Meet the Animals page you can learn more about some of the wild animals rescued by our team. During emergency wildlife rescues it is rarely that we receive a wild animal that is not injured or does not need to be hand raised. The costs for emergency rescues, veterinary procedures and subsequent post-operative treatment or hand raising of wild animals can be substantial. By sponsoring the animals in our care you will make a significant contribution to their successful return to the wild. SPECIAL APPEALS - As and when special projects are run by the SanWild Wildlife Trust, appeals go up this website and also the main SanWild Website. BOOK A HOLIDAY - To help raise funds for our emergency rescues and the resource management of the reserve SanWild constructed a stunning private bush camp in the 6000 hectare SanWild Wildlife Sanctuary. If you are contemplating a holiday in the southern African bush, you should most definitely consider booking your next holiday with us. VOLUNTEER - SanWild does not run commercial volunteer programs; in other words we do not expect volunteers to pay us to visit the reserve, but we only require a very limited number of people to help us out with very specific projects. TRAINING PROGRAMS - A new and very special feature of the services offered at SanWild that help us raise funding is our formal wildlife rehabilitation and wildlife protection units training programs. All courses and programs are presented by experts in the field of wildlife rehabilitation and wildlife protection (anti-poaching) and a certificate of attendance is issued on completion of the training programs. Long-term employment opportunities exist in the field of wildlife protection. For more information on both please click here. CORPORATE SPONSERS - Every year SanWild identifies and launches specific rescues projects or aim to construct more rehabilitation units or holding and release camps. Such projects may vary from a large predator introduction program or to construct a new waterhole or dam that in return give refuge to a number of wild animals or birds. We welcome corporate sponsorship in exchange for "time-out" in the Savannah Bush Camp. Off course should you simply choose to donate products without exchanging it for time in our camp, we would gracefully accept your donation in product and publish your contribution on our websites.
